A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS

I grew up in the Big Sky Country of Montana. My love for the West is part off who I am. I moved to Colorado for graduate school and like many others stayed to enjoy the beauty, lifestyle and and community we have here. I enjoy getting outside in general, gardening, bird watching and traveling in my time off.

PHILOSOPHY OF CARE

I treat adults with a wide range of mental health concerns.  My treatment approach incorporates a number of elements,  including psychodynamic psychotherapy, interpersonal therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.  I also emphasize developing a treatment plan that fits your life and promotion of optimal opportunities to realize your potential and goals.  This includes patient education and referrals to other community providers and resources as most appropriate.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health DNP I am committed to providing to a full array of primary mental health care services including assessment and treatment of mental health problems. When I meet with a new patient I always emphasize my belief that treatment is a collaborative process.
